NDPTC's Rob Porro to present at HHF's Lunch Forum on Sea Level Rise

EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO HHF EMPLOYEES

We are pleased to have two presenters, Rob Porro from NDPTC and our very own Matt Hom, in a panel discussion of Hawaii’s Hot Topics next Wednesday, November 25, 2015. The Lunch Forum session will begin at 11:30am with lunch, followed by the panel presentation at 12 noon.

Sea level rise and affordable housing are two challenges that planners have been trying to address, especially in Hawaii. In this panel discussion, we will hear about what these challenges are and how they are being addressed in the context of Hawaii.

Rob will be presenting his research which looks at the effect of sea level rise on coastal hazards (erosion, flooding, tsunami). Matt will be discussing affordable housing, providing us with a better understanding of what AMI (Area Median Income) is, and the challenges associated with providing affordable housing to low income households.

RSVP so we can have a headcount for lunch by Thursday November 19th by COB.
