Dr. Qi Chen Presents at NDPTC's 3R Seminar Event
Dr. Qi Chen is professor in the Geography Department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is a remote sensing with research interests in studying various issues of environmental changes (e.g., climate change, land use and land cover change, sea-level rise, habitat and biodiversity loss) and often use a combination of multiple tools (e.g., remote sensing, GIS, statistics, process-based models, and field observations) to address these issues. For his presentation, he discussed his project for Pacific Southwest Regional University Transportation Center, focused on the merging and application of airborne and mobile Lidar for sea level rise modeling.
