NDPTC conducts training in American Samoa

American Samoa UCEDD hosted instructors Bronlea Mishler and Kyle Nelson from NDPTC in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to deliver the Social Media Engagement Strategies course on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. New and Returning individuals from the agencies included the American Samoa Department of Education, American Samoa Department of Commerce, ASCC - Agriculture, Community and Natural Resources Division, American Samoa Department of Homeland Security, and Saili le Atamai, along with ASCC students. They learned effective strategies on how to engage the community using social media, especially in cases of an emergency.
