Special viewing of a poignant documentary exploring personal stories of the tsunami and its aftermath

The University of Hawaii, College of Social Sciences (CSS) is hosting a U.S. premiere of the documentary: "The Great Tsunami in Japan: Reflecting on the 2011 Disaster,” at 1:30 - 3:00 pm on September 17, 2016 in the Art Auditorium. Video collected immediately after the March 11, 2011 tsunami has been combined with moving personal stories, exploring the humble but resolute spirit of those who inhabit this disaster-prone region of Japan.
