NDPTC Delivers E0684 Integrating Science into Emergency Management Policy and Decision Making at EMI

From May 2 - 5, NDPTC delivered the E0684 course at EMI's Executive Academy

On May 2 to May 5, NDPTC delivered the E0684 Integrating Science into Emergency Management Policy and Decision Making course at FEMA's Emergency Management Institute. This course is one of four week long courses that make up the Emergency Management Executive Academy. The course focused around risk, risk management, risk assessment, risk transferal and risk governance, but covered topics in weather and earth science, radioactivity, terrorism and explosives, as well as topics involving technology such as Unmanned Aerial Systems and crisis communication with social media using the Simulation Deck suite of applications.
