NDPTC participates in NDPC initiative to expand training to combat the ongoing Ebola crisis
NDPTC staff Elayne Saejung and Thomas Bedard participate in PER-320 training on Personal Protective Measures for Biological Events. The National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC) is working on an initiative to expand training for protective measures against biological agents because of the recent outbreak and issues surrounding the Ebola virus. Elayne Saejung has an education in biohazardous threat agents/emerging infectious diseases, and years of experience in the areas of HAZMAT and as a Public Health Emergency Planner, and Thomas, besides having an education in meteorology has been an EMT instructor.
