Ph.D. students from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning presented their research at NDPTC's Monthly Third Thursday Event. Presenting were: Barrett Ristroph: The Warm Side of Climate Change: Using Social Capital, Collective Action, and Resilience to Plan for Climate Change Adaptation in Alaska Native Villages, Julia Crowley: Albizia Tree Hazard Mitigation Following Tropical Storm Iselle, and Jonathan Sawyer: Post-Disaster Displacement and Resettlement in Albay (Philippines).
