The National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC) and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP) invite you to a presentation of the 2016 Practicum on Social Capital, Indigenous Community Capacity, and Disaster Management. What is the role of social capital in building healthy communities? How can we build on the strengths of a community to ensure they prepare for and recover from natural disasters?
