NDPTC works in close partnership with the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CFE-DMHA) in various research projects. The recent Super Typhoon Haiyan (locally known as Yolanda) spurred many formal and informal subject-matter exchanges and initiatives. CFE-DMHA recently released a report and shared with NDPTC, the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) one-year look at the lessons learned and best practices in the response to Haiyan called “Operation DAMAYAN.”Additional resources:
